Outrival HR Solutions & Consultancies Ltd is recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client in the Oil and Gas industry, based in South Sudan. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Receivable Accountant to manage and oversee all accounts receivable functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collections, reconciliations, and maintaining strong client relationships to optimize cash flow and financial performance. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
•
Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on overdue balances.
•
Perform regular reconciliations of accounts receivable balances.
•
Prepare and analyze aging reports, identifying overdue accounts and recommending collection strategies.
•
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
•
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
•
Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
•
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
•
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
Requirements:
•
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•
CPA, ACCA, or other relevant professional certification is required.
•
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable in the Oil and Gas sector.
•
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and credit management.
•
Experience in working with Government-to-Government (G2G) contracts is an added advantage.
•
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
•
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
•
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
